The goal of this blog is to help readers learn about good cannabis products and good cannabis product retailers. A manufacturer of THC products that self-distributes is Exhale Wellness. They are trying to be big, but, as a private company, they are not required to disclose how much revenue they generate.

On the website, the company has an "About Us" that doesn't say much at all:

We’re a tribe of hemp pioneers based in Los Angeles, California, with decades of experience in the natural food industry. We’re cultivators, researchers, and enthusiasts that never stop pursuing genius. Through our partnerships with hemp farms in Colorado, we have perfected some of the highest-grade Delta 8 products on the market.

Oh, nameless "pioneers" from California. Oh, Delta 8! Like this:

Delta-8 may not be bad, but it sure can be. I think that folks need to be cautious about companies that offer Delta-8 products. To be fair, Exhale does offer Delta-9 too, but sure is loud about Delta-8.

More concerning is that the website says nothing about the people who run the company or who own it. The company does have a LinkedIn page, but it sure is not helpful. It has a phone number listed that is area code 323 in California, but the website gives an address that is in Mesquite Texas, which is outside of Dallas and home to a Europa Sports, which is headquartered in Charlotte, NC with the exact same zip code as Exhale. The "contact us" at the bottom of the Exhale page says that it is in Charlotte, NC with a zip code of 28273.

That same Exhale website tells the real story: affiliate sales. They pay 30% commission! The website says nothing about who runs Exhale or who owns it. I did find one investor, Kade Ventures, which is based in India and also in Glendale, California. Interestingly, the co-founder of Exhale, Deepanshu Bedi, works at Kade. The Exhale website says nothing at all, but I did find an article that suggested that Bedi leads Exhale. He has digital marketing expertise, and it shows. The company released its 6th press release in the month of July today.

I have nothing against Bedi, but I do have something against a company that keeps its management or its owners shielded from its customers and investors.
